“If you could look at it from my perspective.”- Titus
I guess it’s a thing for everybody. Most of us want things to go the way we want or think it should go. How can I judge someone who has put in 15 years into whatever it is that they are doing compared to 3 days of launching? Would it ever occur to me that my level of information COMPARED to 65 years? Let’s be for real, retirement is set at that age for a reason it’s not just a number. It’s based on wisdom, experience, knowledge, and expertise. Now nobody is saying that there’s nothing wrong with anything you have (Wisdom, Knowledge, experience, and expertise.)

In real life experience most of the elderly have literally been through a lot of traumatic things and are still going through! We can’t say that we experienced up close and personal; most of the wars, most of the attacks, the dramatic changes, natural causes, etc.! Let’s not forget COVID-19 that drastically changed most of our lives as well as commercial good companies. I don’t have a percentage of the exact amount but what have most of us lived through that changed our life? NOT COVID-19! Hurricane’s? A Plague? Tornadoes? I don’t know, oh what Slavery? I’m sure the list can go on.
In Birmingham, Al there is so much history and it’s amazing to experience most of what I did get to! While attending at I Care Christian Ministry a sweet young little lady that was in the Church Sunday School bombing also attends and it’s a beautiful site to see (Birmingham and The Greater Birmingham). Knowing that in such a heartbreaking experience, GOD MOVED. (In my opinion I feel that yet in a situation truly unexpected and all the loved ones that were lost. GOD needed to show that even in that kind of situation he will have a living testimony.) She does just that!

I said all that to say this, we haven’t experienced a lot and most times we don’t listen (TALIKEYAH) it’s not that right or wrong, but the difference is you have gained wisdom from a different perspective and now it’s on you to apply it. I have a very close friend. Her name is Pink Raspberry, and I wanted some advice from her based on this blog conversation, so this is our chat before starting class today.
Talikeyah: “What advice would you give to me or the younger generation?”
Pink Raspberry: “Let’s not forget I’m non bias, I’m:
*Loving,
* Kind,
*Gentle,
*Patient,
*Soft, yet I am honest, I am the truth, and I would tell you anything I haven’t done nor what instructions that weren’t given to me…
ME: “Don’t come at me to hard, I just want my class to know that Professor Talikeyah not tripping! Don’t want them to hear something I might not like so to keep it PG-13”
HER: “I have something that always brings food to the soul for all ages. Alright, I have a friend named Titus, and he gave me some phenomenal words of wisdom I needed one day. He stated: “but as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine.” (ESV) I know how you like to look up the meaning of a word or reference that adds credit BUT then his close friend Timothy elaborated on it even in more detail.
ME: “Will this be an hour-long conversation, I don’t know if I can tell a short story with a hour or so long conversation.”
Pink Raspberry: “You’re doing too much! Anyways Timothy said it like this….
Well for now we only have a 5-minute warning before class is over! So, I will start with what Timothy said tomorrow. Please don’t forget to sign up for email alerts once they start flowing, they will be important for class.
Well today was a good first day, I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!
